Garbage Collection

Omaha’s contract with Waste Management will expire on 11/29/2020. The new website that provides a plethora of information about the new service is https://wasteline.org

The new service will include rolling containers for recycling, lawn refuse, and garbage. The new containers are delivered and will go into use on 11/30/2020. Please store them out of plain sight, as per the covenants.

Many homeowners choose to also use Abe’s Trash Service in addition to the city pickup. Abe’s will provide a large rolloff receptacle for trash and a separate one for recycling if you choose. Abe’s pickup day is every Thursday. In the event a federal holiday falls in the week on or before Thursday, Abe’s will pickup one day later on Friday. For more info on Abe’s click here.
